Cymplecy - Scratch projects for Primary Schools

Various Scratch projects to control hardware connected to a Raspberry Pi's GPIO port for use in Primary Schools.

Cymplecy is a website that has various hardware projects that are aimed at primary school children. The projects are based around the Scratch programming language which is a great program for children to get into programming, with it's graphical drag and drop approach to programming and ideal for teaching in school.

The projects show you how to build simple electronic circuits and then connect them to the Raspberry Pi's GPIO port including detailed Scratch programming guides.

Projects include using motors, stepper motors and ultra sonic sensors.

There is also a section with guides to controlling 12 Raspberry Pi addon boards used to build simple robots, sensor boards and output boards with lights and buzzers such as the BerryClip, RasPiBot2, Pibrellas and PiRingo.
