The Raspberry Pi 4 with Extra Sugar

The long awaited Raspberry Pi 4 has been released with loads of new features and the power to be a pocket Desktop PC.

The Raspbian Package are the software you can install on to your Raspberry Pi for free using the APT command.

The latest version of Raspbian has been released which is called Buster, based on Debian 10, replacing Raspbian Stretch.

A browsable list of the software available as packages is available on RaspberryConnect in the software section.The package lists what software versions will be available on both the Buster and Stretch distributions.

For the 2018 birthday release the Raspberry Pi 3 has been upgraded  to the Rpi3 B+ it goes faster and gets a WiFi upgrade.

SD by Ei5di is Contest Logging Software for Amateur Radio which can be run on the Raspberry PI using ExaGear Desktop.

Trying out OpenGL on Raspberry Pi 3

It was announced in February 2016 that OpenGL drivers were being tested for the Raspberry PI allowing full 3D hardware graphics and a lot more Linux software to run on the RPi. Along with the release of the more powerful Raspberry Pi 3 I thought I will try out some existing OpenGL Games and software.
