Once installed onto a SD memory card OpenELEC turns the Raspberry Pi into a home entertainment centre using the popular XMBC media center software.
Features include Video and HD playback, music player, slide shows, internet video streaming, watch on demand TV, playback multimedia files from other devices on your home network. The system is configurable in the way it looks and feels with many plug-ins available to add extra features.
